The J 88 comes from the same team that designed the famous J 111 and J 70, a 29-foot sailboat, the ideal size for a family speedster. It includes all the advantages of sailboats designed by “J Composites”: stability, style and sailing comfort. The J 88 is large enough to provide the comfort of a seated cockpit with backrest, an inboard engine, an interior to spend the night; but it is also small enough to be craned, towed and stored by its owner
The highlights of her design include a slender sail plan without overlap, a carbon mast, a double spreader stage.
With a 1.95m keel and a low center of gravity, the J 88 prides itself on very enviable performance, balanced and fast upwind. It will demonstrate its planning capabilities in light winds. All this thanks to an easy control, accessible to all.
