Designed for the little ones One Design, the Power3 ratchet blocks offer three options of holding power suitable for a wide variety of regatta conditions. This choice translates for sailors into finer adjustments in association with the hoist, which guarantees them an ideal level of power, responsiveness and control. Harken's patented T2 Ratchamatic pulleys combine the design of the T2 models with a transfilage fastening system. Featuring fibre-reinforced composite cheeks, an aluminum sheave and a ratchet mechanism with fewer moving parts, these featherweight blocks boast extreme strength. The fixing by transfilage allows them to be placed flush with the deck. In the case of using a large diameter rope to make a splice, the end of the rope can also be used to position these pulleys at the desired height for perfect alignment. Under the effect of the pressure exerted on the rope, the mechanism of the pulleys automatically switches from free rotation mode to ratchet mode. The mainsail and jib sheets can thus move freely when passing a buoy, while the asymmetrical spinnaker is instantly shocked when gybing. The cheeks of the T2 Ratchamatic pulleys feature a large arrow that clearly indicates the direction in which the rope engages. To be used for trimming the mainsail and spinnaker sheets of sport catamarans, dinghies and regatta sailboats. These pulleys come with Spectra® rope.
